Ph.D. student with a scholarship from the Cajal Blue Brain project.

Short Bio

Laura Antón-Sánchez received a degree in Computer Science from the University of Murcia (UMU) in 2006 (“excellence award”) and a Bachelor degree in Statistics from Miguel Hernández University of Elche in 2008 (“excellence award”), for which she received the Second National Award for University Students in Statistics in 2010. She obtained a Master degree in Mathematics from the UMU in 2012 and a Master degree in Artificial Intelligence from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) in 2015. She is currently a Ph.D. student at the UPM's Artificial Intelligence Department, taking part in the Cajal Blue Brain project.

Research interests

Spatial statistics, spatial point processes, graph theory and evolutionary computation, and their applications to neuroscience.
