Short Bio

Ignacio Leguey Vitoriano received a degree in Statistics from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) in 2011, a Bachelor degree in Applied Statistics from UCM in 2012, a Master in Sciences degree in Mathematical Engineering from the UCM in 2013 and a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the UPM in 2018. He started as a Ph.D. student at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) in the Artificial Intelligence Department, taking part in the Human Brain Project in 2013. In 2014 he got a FPU Fellowship (FPU13/01941) supported by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. His research interests includes directional statistics, supervised classification and probabilistic graphical models, particulary Bayesian network classifiers and their applications in neuroscience.
