Short Bio

Gherardo Varando received his Bachelor degree in Mathematics in 2011 and Master degree in Applied Mathematics in 2014, both from Università degli Studi di Firenze, Italy. He obtained his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence in 2018 at the UPM, taking part in the Cajal Blue Brain project.

Research interests

Probabilistic graphical model and their application, Bayesian Network classifier, Expressive power of BN classifier, density and conditional density approximation, image segmentation.
