Short Bio

Alberto received a M.Eng. degree in Industrial Engineering in 2012 from the Comillas Pontifical University (ICAI). Additionally, he obtained a M.Sc. degree in Artificial Intelligence from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) in 2017. He worked for 2 years (2012-2014) at Deloitte Consulting Spain, where he reached the category of Senior Consultant. There, he gained experience in software implementation and process definition projects for large international companies inside Consumer Business and Manufacturing sectors. He is currently a Ph.D. student within the Artificial Intelligence Department of the UPM, where he is taking part in the CDTI CARES project. Previously, he participated in the CASI-CAM project.

Research interests

His research interest is focused on machine learning algorithms and probabilistic graphical models, namely dynamic Bayesian networks, with application to cyber-physical systems and Big Data under the Industry 4.0 paradigm.
